Ojipoji temporarily collects limited technical information—such as hashed IP addresses—to keep the daily puzzle fair, protect against abuse, and understand how the game performs. We do not maintain user accounts, and we avoid collecting information that can directly identify you.
What We Collect
- A hashed representation of your IP address (automatically deleted after 30 days) to detect unusual activity and prevent abuse.
- Basic browser and device information (browser name, device type, and operating system) for compatibility and analytics.
- Gameplay data you submit, such as answers and completion timestamps, so the daily puzzle works as intended.
What We Don’t Collect
- We do not use device fingerprinting or cross-session tracking.
- We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
- We do not collect your name, email, or other directly identifying information (unless you contact us).
How We Use It
- To secure Ojipoji against bots, fraud, and duplicate play attempts.
- To measure high-level game performance—never to build individual profiles.
- To operate core features like sessions, scoring, and the results share card.
Retention & Deletion
- IP addresses (hashed) are automatically deleted after 30 days.
- Abandoned game sessions are deleted after 90 days.
- Completed gameplay records are retained for analytics and scoreboards.
We do not sell or rent any information. We only share data when required by law or to comply with a valid legal request.
Your Choices
- You can clear Ojipoji cookies to reset your session at any time.
- To request deletion of your gameplay data, email us at hello@ojipoji.com with your approximate play date.
- Please avoid entering personal information (like your name or email) when submitting trivia answers.
